I was actually born and raised on a farm in Michigan, so it's not your typical story of having been involved in watersports all my life. When I was little I was a total tomboy, driving my dad's tractor instead of playing with dolls. Then we moved to Florida. All through High School I played basketball, volleyball, and I was also a cheerleader and homecoming queen. After graduating from High School with high honors, I went away to College on a Basketball scholarship. It didn't take very long and I got tired of being inside a gymnasium all day. I decided to move back home to Lake Ariana and continue College there. Living close to the water I started kneeboarding, and realized I loved watersports. After 3 years of kneeboarding, I tried wakeboarding and got hooked right away. Being an athlete pretty much all my life really helped and soon I was doing tricks and jumping the wakes. Through wakeboarding I've met some really great people, and I get to travel a lot and see the world. Wakeboarding has also led me to other great sports like snowboarding, skateboarding and trampoling. The lifestyle is just really cool and laid back. I get to hang out with my friends on the boat 6 hours a day, watch them get worked and go ride myself. I just really love what I'm doing right now.
